GEAR

My main bass is a Carvin LB-75 5-string strung with light gauge GHS Boomers. I custom ordered it with a blueburst finish and black hardware in 1996.

For unplugged gigs I play a Hohner acoustic bass guitar with phosphor bronze strings. The bass has piezo pickups and an onboard equalizer.

My backup is a 1983 Fender Precision Bass strung with LaBella black tapewound strings. I modified this bass by adding a Leo Quan Badd-Ass Bridge II and Seymour Duncan Bass Lines 1/4 Pounder pickups. I have a matching cream Stratocaster electric guitar from the same year.

	For amplification, I use a Carvin Redline RC 210 Combo with two 300 watt heads, two 10" speakers and a horn. For larger venues I bring along my V-118 Speaker Cabinet.

On the other side of the rhythm section, I play an early seventies 5-piece Ludwig drum kit with 12", 13" and 16" toms, a 14" snare, 22" bass drum, Drum Workshop pedals and Zildjian Cymbals.
