HISTORY

The goal of the fictional Andrew Benzie Airlines is to assemble, upgrade and maintain a diverse fleet of high-quality X-Plane air, ground and water vehicles which meet the following standards:

	Fully operational in X-Plane version 8.50+
	Consistent exterior paint schemes in the aqua/blue AB Air livery, with realistic exterior lighting
	Easy to read/operate revised custom cockpits with animated controls wherever possible
	Custom sounds (horn, ship’s calls, etc.) wherever possible
	Documentation, including original and updated ReadMe files along with new Operation Guide

PLEASE NOTE: These vehicles are updated and/or modified versions of another author’s original work. Please refer to the original README file (after download) for more information. I have obtained the original author’s permission whenever necessary. I would like to sincerely thank the original authors for providing me a solid foundation on which to build; without their work these releases would not be possible. These guides are not to be misconstrued as references for real-world applications.

This project was originally intended for private use, but with the kind approval of the original authors, AB Air is proud to make much of its fleet available for use by the general public.

There are currently 11 AB Air refurbished ground vehicles to choose from, ranging from semis to sailboats. All AB Air ground vehicle models come with a replacement X-Plane 8.50 file to ‘harden’ your roads and bridges allowing easy transit on roadways. All AB Air watercraft models come with a replacement X-Plane 8.50 file to ‘soften’ roads and bridges allowing easy transit on waterways.

Why the focus on ground vehicles? I enjoy sim-flying aircraft, but after a long flight and with the ever-improving scenery available for X-Plane, I like to explore my destination city with a good auto/train/boat ride.
